More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics

A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has surpassed one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.

Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a news eua simple way.

The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
